The beautiful countryside – The best walks

07/10/2015 by Chloe Gunning

Do you love to walk? The idyllic views and amazing scenery in the surrounding areas of Westfield Lodge are guarantee to take your breath away.

It is advisable to wear good walking shoes, preferably boots. Wear loose fitting clothes appropriate for the weather conditions, take a waterproof coat in case of rain and wrap up warm over the coming winter months!

We thought we would take the time to inform you of the fabulous hikes that you can take whilst staying with us and remember the Brontes would have most likely taken these walks themselves…

Please follow the links for the directions and the images are some of the beautiful sites you might see along the way.

If you are more of a free spirit, there is no stopping grabbing your boots and venturing in any direction from the Lodges. Or why not take your bicycle out for a spin?

From all of us here at Westfield Lodge, we would recommend any of the above walks during your stay as they are truly amazing, historical and breath taking.
