Westfield Lodge Apartments – Terms and Conditions

In these Terms & Conditions any references made to “Westfield Lodge Apartments”, “Westfield Lodge” or “us” relates to, and is made on behalf of, Westfield Lodge (Bronteland) Limited.  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.


Booking requests can be made via the Booking Form on this website, by email or by telephone.

Payments:  A deposit of 25% of the full booking price is required where the booking is made more than 4 weeks before the occupancy with the balance becoming due 4 weeks before occupancy.  Deposit only secures booked accommodation until payment of the balance due.  Full payment is required at time of booking if this is within 4 weeks of occupancy.  All bookings will be confirmed via email.   Failure to pay the full amount by the date prescribed entitles Westfield Lodge Apartments to re-let the booking.  Subject to the Cancellations conditions below, any deposit paid is deemed as a definite booking and no refund of deposit will be made.  All payments are handled by Barclays Merchant Services a member of Barclays Bank PLC.


If you want to cancel your booking then the following cancellation charge will apply.  This relates to the relative timing of your cancellation and your scheduled Arrival date.  The time we receive your cancellation instruction is deemed to be the time of cancellation.

  • 14 days or more prior to scheduled Arrival date: loss of the 25% deposit. (If you have already paid the full amount we will refund 75%.)
  • Less than 14 days prior to scheduled Arrival date: 100% of total cost.

NOTE: The Payment/Cancellation terms contained within these Terms & Conditions override any other Terms & Conditions of any bookings made through third party online booking agencies such as Expedia, Bookings.com etc.

Errors and omissions can sometimes occur and it is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that on receipt of the Booking Confirmation the details contained therein are true and accurate.  In the event of an error or omission contact must be made with Westfield Lodge Apartments immediately or no later than 48 hours after Booking Confirmation has been sent to you as we take no responsibility for errors arising after this time.

Arrival is between 13:00 and 16:00 and all guests are requested to vacate the apartment by 10:15 on the day of departure.  Alternative arrangements may be made on request to Westfield Lodge Apartments at time of booking.

Damage and breakages to equipment, furnishings or fittings within apartments must be reported immediately to Site Reception.  Damages and breakages deemed the result of undue/unnecessary treatment/actions will be subject to a charge being made for repair/replacement/cleaning as considered appropriate.  Should you be travelling with pets then please refer to the pet friendly section on the website.

Your consideration for other guests and pets at Westfield Lodge Apartments is respectfully requested.  Any complaints during your stay should be addressed to Site Reception.

System Failures:  We are not liable for equipment or system failures during the booking process, whether we own the system or not, but will use all reasonable endeavours to deal with such failures in an efficient manner and expect our guests or potential guests to do the same in order to maximise the possibility of rectifying any resultant issues or problems.

Wi-fi and Internet Coverage: We offer free wi-fi but due to the nature of our location the signal strength can not be guaranteed despite having the most uptodate equipment/lines.
