Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice is based only a mile away from Westfield Lodge. The charity host a series of fundraising events and activities in the local area – some really aren’t to be missed therefore, we thought we would enlighten our customers on some of the upcoming events that everyone is welcome to get involved in!

Incorporate some fundraising with your stay at Westfield Lodge or simply come along to join in the fun!

Coniston Challenge Day – Skipton – 07/07/2016

After arriving at the impressive Coniston Country Estate, you will start the day with a hearty breakfast, then in teams of four can enjoy a series of challenges including off-road Land Rover driving, archery, target golf, clay-pigeon shooting and a falconry display. Find out more.

 

Bronte Sportive – Keighley – 17/07/2016

The Bronte Sportive is a challenging cycling event in the heart of Pennine West Yorkshire. Our 7th event will take place on Sunday 17 July 2016 and as in previous years there will be four routes to suit all abilities. Find out more.

 

Manorlands Paint Rush – Keighley – 24/07/2016

If you’ve never done a colour run before this is a run with a difference, as during the 5km run you will pass through 7 colour stations where brightly coloured powder will be sprayed or thrown at you, turning your face, hair and your complementary ‘Sue Ryder Paint Rush’ T-shirt a different shade! Manorlands Starlight Hike – Oxenhope – 03/09/2016 

Have a fantastic night out under the stars on a 10k walk through Oxenhope and surrounding villages, remembering loved ones and raising funds for Manorlands Hospice.  With a new route, entertainment and featuring the incredible Starlight Express train ride, this is a night not to be missed! Bronte Mountain Bike Challenge – Oxenhope/Haworth – 18/09/2016 

This will be the 12th Bronte Mountain Bike Challenge, and in September 2015 a record number of over 350 participants took part. All entry fees go straight towards supporting Sue Ryder care in the local area, and while there is no obligation to raise funds through sponsorship, those who raise £50 or more will be entered into a prize draw to win a mystery bike related prize from our sponsors at All Terrain Cycles.
