1940's WEEKEND
15th -16th May 2010
Roll back time and enjoy the nostalgia of the 1940s. 'Bivouac' here at Westfield Lodge Apartments and see Haworth as it might have been. Fantastic re-enactment weekend, military vehicles, the Home Guard, Army, Navy, RAF, WAAF,child evacuees, marching pipe band, street entertainment etc. RAF Memorial Flight flypast (Saturday only). Start the weekend off with the Friday night Jump Jive & Swing Dance. Jostle and dance amongst the soldiers, sailors, airmen and other civvies as you make your way up Main Street during the VE Day celebrations. Great fun for everyone.

1960's WEEKEND
19th-20th June 2010
An unforgettable weekend! Time to let your hair down and take a step back to the Swinging '60s. Dance the day and nights away to the magic music of an unforgettable era in pop culture. Rub shoulders with the 'Flower Power' generation, mini-skirts,leather boots, 'pudding-basin' haircuts, hippies etc. Live music up and down the street. Vintage scooters and cars. Plenty to see - you can even watch Ferrets race! - and there's no better place to stay than here at Westfield Lodge Apartments.
OCTOBER
'Hawortheen' Weekend - Fun for all the family
30th -31st October 2010
Hawortheen - Just the place to be after dark, or maybe not?? Watch your step as you walk through darkened Victorian streets, past scary ginnels full of spooky ghostly things that go bump in the night. Ghouls, goblins, witches and wizards help you scurry on your way! Try the graveyard walks. Dress up and join in the fun. A great adventure for all the family.
Lots to see and do on the street with Dragon's Day on the Saturday - follow the giant dragon to the sound of drumbeat. Sunday sees the 'Hawortheen' parade up Main Street. Parade starts at 3pm
NOVEMBER
Scroggling the Holly Weekend
13th-14th November 2010
The official start of the Christmas Festive season in Haworth. 'Scoggleve' on Saturday sees goblins and fairies spreading pixie dust with holly princes, ivy princesses and attendants handing out sprigs of holly, bow-tied with ribbons. Begins at 3pm. On Sunday, bands and Morris Dancers lead a procession of children up the cobbled Main Street to crown the Holly Queen who then unlocks the gates of the parish church to invite into Haworth the spirit of Christmas. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive bringing Glad Tidings and Christmas Cheer to all. Procession begins 5pm on the Sunday.
Christmas Market Weekend
20th-21st November 2010
The season's changing and with it comes the chilly onset of winter. Time to check out the local shops and stalls for unique Christmas gifts, crafts and local produce. Stop along the way for a welcome hot cuppa (or cold beverage) in any one of the cafes and inns. Enjoy the atmosphere and excitement of a typical festive Victorian Christmas market with Santa and Mrs. Claus, bands, choir, fairground organ, jugglers and other street entertainment. A great way to shop without the stress!
Pipes, Bows & Bells Weekend
27th-28th November 2010
A celebration of music and dance. Marching pipe band with swirling kilts and stirring music, Morris Dancers, bell ringers, choir and brass bands. A wonderfully entertaining way to spend a day shopping and browsing.
DECEMBER
Haworth Panto Weekend
4th-5th December 2010
Time to enter the spirit of Christmas panto! Here's your opportunity to dress up in the part you've always yearned to be! (Oh! no it's not! Oh! yes it is!!). Join the rest of the favourite panto characters portrayed amongst the shops along Main Street. Prizes for the best dressed characters (both days). Parade starts 3pm on Sunday. Santa and Mrs. Claus about on both days.
Haworth Torchlight Procession
11th-12th December 2010
What more can you say? An incredible experience that has become an annual favourite with many visitors to the village. Saturday - Candlemass Eve - Santa and Mrs. Claus lead the torchlight procession down Main Street accompanied by the Holly Queen, Morris Dancers, choirs and bands. Starts top of Main Street at 3pm. Carol singing around the Christmas tree at bottom of street.
On Sunday the famous Torchlight Procession begins at 5.15pm at the bottom of Main Street with hundreds of torch and lantern bearers, accompanied by choirs and bands singing carols on the way up to the parish church. The traditional carol service held in the church is part of a religious service and has restricted entry.
Nativity Weekend
18th-19th December 2010
The final weekend of the Christmas Festival organised by Haworth churches in conjunction with Haworth Village Association this weekend reflects the true spirit of Christmas with the Nativity procession. Come and join Mary and Joseph as they wend their way up the cobbled Main Street in search of an inn for the night. Children and local choirs join together with Santa and Mrs. Claus to help create the real meaning & magic of Christmas.
